    At FCS Financial, part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, we are looking for a Loan Services Assistant to join our Team FCS Financial is a member of the largest agriculture lending cooperative in the United States today.

    The position processes all Association long-term real estate full deed of trust releases.

    This position is also a trainee for the Loan Services Specialist role and will provide backup to the Loan Services Specialists in the Loan Services department.

    The trainee component requires review and preparation of legal documents for loan closings.
    This position is open until filled.
    This position is located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
    This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

    Vice President, Loan ServicesSupervises: NoneResponsibilities/DutiesJob Functions*PercentageJob Functions20%Office DutiesContacts service providers for office equipment maintenance and document shreddingOrders office suppliesSchedules and sets up for meetings and eventsCompiles invoices for VP approvalProcesses incoming mail, including the processing/tracking of newly signed promissory notes and sending them to our funding bank on a weekly basisProcesses original loan documents and loan policies received from title companiesLogs, scans and prepares overnight packages of original notes to be sent to our funding bankHandles annual inventory of office equipmentMaintains updates to training manualsPrepares packets and manuals for meetings and other eventsReviews and resolves issues reflected on various monthly reportsResponds to internal/external customer requests and/or identifies the correct staff member to respondScan closing packets for Loan Services staff, as neededReviews unfunded balance reports and sends follow up emails to get fees cleared50%Processing Releases of Deeds of TrustVerifies loan statusConfirms with branch staff permissions to release deeds of trustReviews original loan documents received from our funding bankPrepares releases of deeds of trustPrepares envelopes for the county recorder to record prepared release for counties that don't e-RecordUploads releases to e-Record for electronic recordingSends documents to the customer in a timely mannerMaintains updated list of counties with e-record capabilities30%Document and Information Review and Document PreparationProcesses real estate loans under direction of Loan Services department leadershipReviews various items including title commitments, appraisals, entity formation documents and other supporting documents for accuracy and adherence to regulations and Association policies and proceduresVerifies and inputs information into applicable databases.

    Performs maintenance to system data as necessaryFollows up on questions, inconsistencies and missing informationAnswers questions regarding loan documentationGenerates and merges loan documents using applicable softwarePrepares closing instructions and various other documents for loan closingsn/aOther duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
