Job summary
The role as a Continuous Improvement Mechanical Technician will drive improvements in production of Instrument Transformers and Indoor & Outdoor products production in ELDS. The work involves designing, fabricating, modifying and installing mechanical and electromechanical solutions including fixtures tools ergonomic assists poke‑yoke devices workstations carts safety mechanisms prototype equipment collaborating with operators to translate improvement ideas into safe effective durable working solutions leading or supporting Kaizen with focus on layout optimization workstation design tooling improvements ergonomic enhancements material/production flow providing hands-on build setup commissioning of new or improved equipment fixtures processes developing maintaining technical documentation CAD models mechanical electrical drawings work instructions training materials ensuring all improvement solutions meet OSHA safety requirements ergonomic standards.Responsibilities
