Job summary
The Driver - Non-Emergent-Medical Transport is under the direct supervision of EMS Supervisor or Paramedic and transports ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients with wheeled chairs and stretchers.Responsibilities
- Maintains the transport vehicle in a condition suitable for transportation of sick or injured patients.
- Cleans and fuels the vehicle before each shift to verify that it's prepared to transport patients.
- Completes a vehicle inspection sheet before each shift and keeps accurate trip sheets on every transport including times and mileages.
