Job Description

A manufacturing company has an opening for anMechanical HVAC Design Engineer who will be responsible for providing specialized and detailed engineering design services.Work hours are Monday through Friday from8 a.m. to4:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Plan, design, and coordinate assigned engineering projects
Coordinate with sales department and customer to identify project requirements and design circuit requirements
Perform equipmentcalculations and select equipment
Develop project drawings and documentation
Work with sales, production, purchasing, and field personnel to meet schedule requirements
Establish mechanical and electrical systemsand troubleshoot system problems
Assist in testing and project validation tasks, assemble manuals and instructions, and product improvement and support
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

Must have aBachelorof Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
Must have 2 to 5 years of provenmechanical design experience
Must have experience with sheet metal, refrigeration,HVACdesign, and cooling water; Chilled water is preferred
Knowledge of HVACSystems, fluid flow and piping design, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
Must be proficient in AutoCAD2D, 3D, Word, and Excel
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
