Olmsted Aggregate is a leading aggregate provider in the greater Rochester area. With three quarry and pit locations, we provide a variety of rock, stone, sand, and dirt for commercial and residential use.

Description:

Under direction of the General Manager, estimate aggregate and trucking for customers. Assist the scale attendants and office staff with customer calls, questions, orders, billing, etc. Use multiple applications to find/bid work to various contractors and government entities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide aggregate and trucking quotes to customers
• Use different applications to find local projects that could utilize our products
• Communicate with customers to set schedule of pick ups or delivery of products
• Attend township meetings, after regular working hours, to bid road rock
• Work with truck dispatch on schedule for townships
• Communicate with Accounts Receiveable to ensure proper billing of jobs estimated and act as AR back-up if needed
• Run aggregate gradiations when necessary
• Mark township roads with flags to ensure proper disbursement of aggregate when needed
• Manage social media profiles to market products
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Sit/Stand in scale house or at desk for long periods of time
• Proper communication and attention to detail (hearing, vision)
• Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
