Job Title: Showroom Sales & Operations Specialist (Bilingual Mandarin/English)
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Job Type: Full-time (100% On-site)
Pay: $19/hr + Commission (2–3%)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability is a plus)
About Us:
Leisure Space Furniture is a growing furniture and home decor company based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. In addition to our local showroom, we sell on major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and Bilingual (Mandarin/English) Showroom Sales & Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a cross-functional role for someone who enjoys helping customers in person while also supporting office and order operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Showroom Sales & Customer Service (Hourly + Commission):
- Greet walk-in customers and recommend furniture products based on their needs.
- Manage the full sales cycle: product presentation, quoting, closing orders, and processing payments.
- Provide after-sales support and handle customer inquiries.
- Goal: Meet sales targets to earn a 2–3% commission in addition to hourly pay.
2. Office Administration:
- Assist with daily office tasks, including answering phones, replying to emails, and document filing/scanning.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for order tracking, inventory management, and reporting (proficiency with filters and basic formulas is required).
- Assist with basic accounting/admin tasks (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
3. E-commerce & Light Operations Support (Occasional):
- Assist with e-commerce order processing for platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair (e.g., printing shipping labels and packing lists).
- Support the warehouse team when needed: light order picking, product labeling, and verifying incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Note: This involves light physical activity (e.g., checking items, labeling boxes) and is NOT a heavy-duty warehouse role.
Requirements:
- Language: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English is a MUST (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word).
- Intermediate Excel skills are highly valued (e.g., filters, basic formulas; VLOOKUP is a plus).
- E-commerce: Familiarity with seller portals such as Amazon Seller Central and Wayfair Partner Home is highly preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or office administration is preferred.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical: Able to perform light lifting and standing/walking as needed.
Work Authorization:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
