    Description

    DCI Job Requirement for:
    *DevOps Engineer*Location: APG, MD


    Job Description:
    Serves as a DevOps Engineer for CI/CD

    Design Enterprise Kubernetes Infrastructure (from scratch-CI/CD, Git, Jenkins)

    • End-to-end (installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc)
    • Implement multiple Kubernetes Masters for high availability
    • Configure auto provisioning
    • Configure auto scaling of CI/CD job/build/agents/runners/nodes
    • Implement Kubernetes services and Network Policies
    • Network Encryption between Kubernetes clients such as: kubectl, Kubernetes masters, and nodes
    Brief / Defend your design in front of the DevSecOps review board

    • Security, Networking, Infrastructure, DevOps

    Design and Implement:

    • Clusters, cluster segmentation
    • Internal/external networking for 4+ CI/CD deployment environments
    • Dev, test, staging, production
    • Cluster sizing and scaling
    Configure CI/CD deployments with ConfigMaps, Secrets and SecurityContexts

    Installing, configuring Ingress Controller(s) (Nginx or other)

    Ingress TLS Termination

    Utilizes Configuration as Code, with tools such as ansible, puppet, chef.


    Qualifications :
    BS in STEM Field

    DoD m IAT Level II

    9+ years of position relevant work experience

    Experience w/ CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment

    Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages:

    • Shell, Python, JavaScript, Typescript and PowerShell
    Experience with Linux environments

    Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or other comparable products

    Experience working in an agile development environment

    Experience with software development using Java and RESTful services

    *REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI Clearance*Job Type: Full-time


    Salary:
    $130,000 - $170,000

    • CI/CD pipeline configuration: 2 years (Preferred)
    * shell, python, javascript, powershell scripting: 2 years (Preferred)


    • Linux: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): 2 years (Preferred)
    • DevOps engineering: 9 years (Preferred)

    Security clearance:

    • Top Secret (Required)

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Herndon, VA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
