- Read blueprints and drawings
- Take and read measurements
- Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency
- Weld components using Stick or MIG welding equipment
- Repair machinery
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or machinery to be used
- Set up components for welding
- Align components using tape measures, rulers, etc.
- Report damages on machines and equipment
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- 18+ years old
- Professional Certification AWS Welding Certificate D1.1 1G minimum
- 1 year of experience as Welder
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Good knowledge of and adherence with safety standards
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- The ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required

Company DescriptionWe are a fully equipped steel fabrication operation. Our facility boasts 14,000 square feet of production space with 6 and 10 ton crane bays. Our capabilities include CAD and CAM services, design assistance, laser cutting, saw cutting, shearing, fabrication, drilling, welding, punching, shot blasting, coping, notching, painting and powder coating.
