    Summary/Objective:

    Responsible for collaborating with the video producer to plan, shoot, edit, and distribute videos across various platforms. Excels in nurturing ideas from conception to final production, ready for sharing on TV, social media, or for in-house purposes.

    The Videographer / Editor is expected to:

    • Work closely with the video producer to create high-quality multimedia content for TV shows, social media, marketing, promotions, educational projects, and other company-wide initiatives while adhering to branding guidelines.
    • Shoot, log, and organize professional-grade footage.
    • Offer editorial storytelling.
    • Demonstrate expertise in 2D/3D motion graphics, animation, design, and layout.
    • Have a solid understanding of green screen keying and compositing.
    • Possess strong videography skills and basic knowledge of on-location lighting and sound.
    • Perform color correction on finalized videos.
    • Create compressed video files suitable for broadcasting and non-broadcasting purposes.
    • Utilize photography skills.
    • Contribute to video setup, lighting, filming, and teleprompting both in-studio and on location.
    • Recruit video talent and manage talent release documents.
    • Independently and collaboratively work on conveying ministry values and beliefs through multimedia projects.
    • Produce social media videos using stock footage, music, and motion graphics.
    • Manage the video library by importing, organizing, and archiving footage.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to transfer video and audio files for broadcast production.
    • Transcribe, review, and export subtitles and closed captioning.

    Competencies:

    • 3+ years of experience in audiovisual production covering pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
    • Essential social media proficiency.
    • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud software, especially Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and various video compression software.
    • Extensive knowledge of different cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
    • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and uphold organizational values and goals.

    Required Education or Experience:

    Bachelor's degree and two to three years of professional experience in television, radio, film, sound, or related fields preferred.

    Supervisory Responsibility: Currently, this role has no direct reports.

    Travel: Local travel mostly during business hours, with occasional out-of-area and overnight trips.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-time contractor role.

    Salary: $28 - $32 per hour depending on experience.
