    This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus up to $20,000 Full-time NIGHTS Position

    Providence Medical Center, located in Kansas City, is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

    Responsibilities


    Our team of physicians and other professionals is in need of a compassionate, hardworking labor and delivery nurse to support them in providing care for women during their pregnancies, labors, and births.

    The labor and delivery nurse also helps surgeons with caesarian sections and tends to women who have problems during their pregnancies or delivery processes.


    The ideal candidate for this position will be meticulous, have a strong attention to detail, and be knowledgeable about all aspects of labor and delivery, postpartum care, complications, and treatments.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING


    • Current and valid state RN License.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
    • BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current
    • ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current
    • NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current
    • Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current
    • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months
    • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred
    • STABLE preferred
