Insight Global is seeking a Technical Support Specialist – Technical Lead to join our team at the Navy Warfare Development Center.
In this role, you will support the Maritime Operations Center – Exercise Support Team and NSWC-Corona, delivering Navy Live Virtual Constructive training across global Areas of Responsibility.
- Act as technical team lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for FST-O training events.
- Lead event planning, testing, and execution in compliance with NCTE Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); recommend updates and develop new SOPs.
- Coordinate with NCTE operators, engineers, and MOC training teams to ensure systems and personnel support.
- Manage technical resources and resolve issues during event planning and execution.
- Maintain and enhance modeling and simulation tools aligned with Navy doctrine and evolving military capabilities.
- Use Confluence and JIRA for documentation, scheduling, and issue tracking; keep stakeholders informed.
- Support distributed training events and attend planning conferences as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree + 2 years experience OR Master's degree OR High School diploma + 6 years experience.
- Certifications: Linux and/or Microsoft professional certification; Security+ required.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP) and distributed simulation protocols (HLA, DIS).
- Military experience and familiarity with JLVC supported FST events.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
