- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Address facility-related issues promptly to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Provide input on equipment maintenance schedules and improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance activities.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards to maintain a secure workplace.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance issues and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge in life safety (fire alarm system panels, relays, flows and tampers) to trouble shoot and identify problems in the fire system and minimize the cost-of-service calls when life safety parts fail.
- knowledge in building automation systems (understands differential pressure, Delta-T, and heat exchangers)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- knowledge in wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, diesel and electric fire pumps, and fire pump controls and transfer switch operation.
- knowledge in house plumbing systems (domestic water booster pumps, wastewater and vent risers, p/t systems, and the importance of pressure reducing stations and how they work)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (locate water leaks, electrical, and mechanical)

- High School Degree or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- At least 3 years in a mechanical role.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
