About the Role
I'm hiring a highly organized, discreet, and reliable Mandarin/English bilingual assistant to support both academic tutoring for two middle school students and preparation for UN/international meetings and events.
This is a high-trust role requiring strong execution, attention to detail, and strict confidentiality.Mandarin-native candidates with strong familiarity with Chinese family/education culture are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Tutoring & Support (two middle schoolers): daily homework support and tutoring in core subjects (especially Math and ELA/English reading & writing, adjusted to the children's curriculum); study planning, exam preparation, learning habit coaching
School Coordination:
email communication and scheduling; tracking key notices, deadlines, and school events
UN & International Event Support:
briefing materials, agenda tracking, registrations/logistics, and in-person coordination when attending events together in NYC
Communication & Rehearsal:
conversational English practice and briefing rehearsals (role-play, Q&A, pronunciation/fluency support) as needed
Administrative Support:
calendar reminders, document formatting, basic research; strict confidentiality
Requirements
Native or near-native Mandarin + professional-level English (written & spoken)
Tutoring/teaching experience with middle school students strongly preferred
Exceptional organization, dependable execution, and ability to multitask
Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy

主要职责
初中学科辅导与支持(两位初中生):作业辅导与补课,初中核心学科(以数学、英语阅读写作为主,按孩子课程调整);制定学习计划、管理考试节点、培养学习习惯
家校沟通协调:
处理与学校的邮件沟通及预约安排,管理学校通知、关键日期及活动日程
国际会议与活动支持:
资料清单、议程跟进、报名注册及必要的现场会务协同
英文沟通训练与彩排:
英文口语练习与会议表达彩排(模拟问答、发音校正、流畅度支持等)
日常行政支持:
日历提醒、文档排版整理、基础信息检索;严格保守隐私
岗位要求
中文母语或近母语水平,英文口语与书面表达扎实
有初中教学或辅导经验者优先(学校、机构或私教均可)
组织能力强、交付可靠,能高效处理多线程任务
守边界、责任心强、高度尊重隐私
