    Job Title: Delivery Driver Manager

    Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday

    About the Role

    The primary objective of this position is to coordinate the distribution of company products to customer accounts. As a key member of our team, the Delivery Driver Manager will oversee the delivery process to ensure timely and efficient day-to-day delivery and merchandising of company products for customer accounts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Team Management: Manage the delivery roles and route relief of the Delivery Customer Representatives, including hiring, development, performance management, and terminations.
    • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching, training, and motivation to new and existing Delivery Customer Representatives to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Performance Evaluation: Manage associate performance to achieve customer base goals; hold Delivery Customer Representatives accountable for executing their duties and responsibilities, including proper rotation, merchandising, customer service, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance.
    • Ride-Along Evaluations: Participate in delivery ride-alongs and evaluate performance to identify areas for improvement.
    • Customer Relations: Develop relationships with customers and provide exceptional service to retain and grow business.

    Requirements

    • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, combined with four years of management experience.
    • Credentials: Valid commercial driver's license, pallet jack, and/or forklift certification.
    • Skills: General sales, account management, marketing techniques, inventory management, merchandising, administration, human resources principles, customer service principles, and basic computer knowledge.

    Work Environment

    This role typically works in an office or customer account setting. The individual must be able to operate general office equipment, including tablets or PCs, as well as two-wheel dollies and pallet jacks.
