- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous math curriculum aligned with state standards and district expectations.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student understanding and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance instructional practices and promote student success.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress, performance, and academic goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid Michigan teaching certification with endorsement in secondary mathematics or eligibility for certification.
- Previous experience teaching math at the high school level preferred.
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Passion for math education and commitment to fostering student success.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
