Intern With Us

Join us as an iOS App Development intern, and you will gain experience exercising a full range of skills to build and test functional backend services, design interactive frontend components, and implement the above as part of our iOS application.

Opportunities For Learning In This Role Include

Developing backend services (e.g. APIs), using best practices for secure database access & user management

Developing mobile graphic user interface elements (e.g. menus, tabs, widgets) for customers to easily access and navigate building analytics and alerts for energy management systems

Drawing directly from client feedback to create user-friendly, visually delightful, and functional iOS app experiences

Illustrating and implementing design ideas using Xcode and Swift

Strengthening your problem solving skills

Ideal Candidates Will

Be proficient in Xcode and/or other integrated development environment for macOS

Be proficient in Swift

Have prior experience with UI/UX design and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or a similar graphics program

Have prior experience with programming languages, i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Enjoy a balance of working independently and collaborating with others in a diverse team environment

Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Believe in personal responsibility

Not be afraid to ask questions to understand or clarify on what's expected

Ideally be either pursuing or be a graduate from a relevant field, i.e. Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Service Design, App Development/Design

Disclaimer: This remote position can start anytime. We ask for a minimum of 4-12 months commitment for this internship and prioritize full-time hours/week) applicants. Part-time (20 hours/week) applicants are still welcome to apply, but please be mindful of potential scheduling conflicts. Visa sponsorship is not available.

NOTE: This is an un paid internship for an up-and-coming startup still in the stages of product development.
