Department Information Wellstar College School of Nursing is Transforming Lives.Recognized as the largest nursing program in north Georgia, (WSON) Wellstar School of Nursing students consistently outpace national figures for first-time pass rates on the National Council Licensure Examination.

WSON currently employs more than 70 dedicated nursing faculty and clinical specialists.Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, full-time, non-tenure track, Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor of Nursing faculty positions in the Wellstar School of Nursing that begins August 2024.
Responsibilities These positions report to the Director of the Wellstar School of Nursing. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in undergraduate or graduate classroom and clinical courses.Required Qualifications To teach undergraduate courses:
~ A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing.
To teach graduate courses:
~ A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Nursing or a related discipline is required.
A clinical background in one or more: adult health, community health, psychiatric/mental health, parent/child or women's health nursing and/or skills and simulation labs.
