Using your deep knowledge of Machine Learning & AI, you will translate complex business requirements into a bold strategy, galvanize a team around it, and deliver trajectory-changing results. We are looking for a creative, passionate, enthusiastic and experienced leader who will collaborate with senior leaders, peers and stakeholders, to develop priorities, roadmaps, and deliver game-changing ML & AI products and capabilities. The leader should possess a sound understanding of, and practical experience, building large-scale data and AI products and platforms and a relentless focus on engineering and operational excellence. We embrace entrepreneurs and also those who come from established corporations.

• • Technology Strategy - Creating the 3/1-year vision for TurboTax and our Growth and Engagement function by partnering with business stakeholders in engineering, product management, design, analytics, and customer success. Organizes the team to deliver against top business priorities and proactively re-prioritize as shifts occur in the year.
  • Boundaryless Collaboration - Ideates, builds and tests new AI models and capabilities that deliver breakthrough growth, increased user adoption, and better together experiences. Works with partners in Tech as well as BUs/FGs to prioritize what's important, create roadmaps for delivery, and own the delivery of key AI experiences that deliver customer benefit as well as critical business KPIs.
  • Operational & Engineering Excellence - Result-oriented and deliver huge outcomes. Sets clear objectives and goals for the team and enables the team to deliver and use operating mechanisms to continually assess progress and improve. Establishes the data driven processes needed to achieve operational & engineering excellence. Foster Engineering culture within the team and across organizations
  • People Leadership - Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing organization of AI scientists and engineers as well as evangelize and democratize AI with partners. Is a talent steward both within their organization as well as peer organizations. Nurture and retain senior talent including Machine Learning Engineering Managers, Data Science Managers and Architects, and acts as a coach across the organization. Develops and drives strategy to hire, develop and mobilize talent for the organization
  • Speed as a Habit - can operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick data driven customer backed decisions and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes
  • Customer Obsession - is a staunch advocate for customers, both internal and external. Stays close to customer problems and solves for them with urgency
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and leading successful large scale AI models and platform capabilities for consumer products

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • PhD in a related field is highly desirable.
