    Primary Function - Director of Supply Chain:

    The Director of Supply Chain position is responsible for maintaining, forecasting, and streamlining inventory levels to create high service levels for our customers.

    Responsibilities and Duties - Director of Supply Chain:

    • Implement a strategic sourcing approach to optimize procurement. This involves analyzing procurement needs, identifying critical items, leveraging bulk purchasing, and negotiating favorable contract terms with suppliers. Analyze spend patterns, consolidate purchases, and negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers.
    • Direct the procurement department and drive organizational efficiencies by:
      1. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement team
      2. Streamlining processes
      3. Reducing costs
      4. Encouraging feedback
      5. Engaging in regular performance reviews with team
    • Leverage procurement technology solutions such as enterprise resource planning systems, e-procurement platforms, and supplier portals to automate processes, improve data visibility, and enhance collaboration with suppliers.
    • Leverage data analytics tools to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Monitor key performance indicators such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover to drive continuous improvement.
    • Create and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to foster open communication, collaboration, and mutual understanding. Regularly engage with suppliers to discuss performance, address concerns, and explore opportunities for improvement and innovation.
    • Develop reports and metrics to support company and department initiatives – with emphasis on system-driven automated metrics to enable productivity efficiencies.
    • Ability to collaborate between departments to align goals, share information, streamline processes, and meeting budgeting and spend goals.
    • Utilize and consistently maintaining procurement technology.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications for Director of Supply Chain :

    • Bachelor's degree in either Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field or equivalent work experience
    • At least 5 years' experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Analytics
    • Experience with procurement software implementation preferred
    • At least 3 years' supervisory experience
    • Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills including advanced Excel capability
    • Knowledge and working experience of automated inventory systems
    • CSCP or CPSM certifications required
    • Effective oral and/or written communication and conflict resolution
    • Analytical mindset and healthy curiosity
    • Possession of a valid driver license
    • Ability to travel occasionally
    • Physical requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
    • Ability to pass the company's background and Motor Vehicle Report and the company's drug testing requirements

    Brame uses the EOS Management System. All employees will participate in regularly scheduled L10 Meetings to discuss departmental issues and suggest opportunities for improvement. All Manager and Supervisors are required to have quarterly conversations with each of their direct reports.
