    Position Description Summary:

    • Identify top target accounts and develop / support strategy to approach and secure business based on trade lane master plan and align with country Account Management and the respective country product management
    • Support sales to develop business opportunities related to trade lanes
    • Assess and create sales lead development and drive lead quality and monitor the follow up of leads and execution / results on the trade lane
    • Actively develop target accounts with substantial volume on the trade lane together with country Account Management
    • Gather and distribute market knowledge to Sales regarding competitors, capacities and prices on specific trade lanes
    • Contribute to budget/target setting for specific trade lanes and drive trade lane campaigns
    • Regularly meet with customers through joint sales visits (locally and / or overseas) to understand requirements and tailor right solutions to gain trade lane business
    • Support overseas sales to engage local product teams to get expected solutions and prices
    • Support establishment of trade lane strategies
    • Act as contact window to sales to consult, support and coordinate sales efforts on joint opportunities on selected trade lanes
    • Provision of expert knowledge on trade lanes Support commercial development by cooperating with Field Sales & KAM on the acquisition of new business with new or existing customers on selected trade lanes. Being actively in contact with customers and branches to promote those trade lanes Engage in the development of new solutions on selected trade lanes in close alignment with product managementKnowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelors degree or equivalent required, specific to supply chain logistics or global transportation. Generally prefer 2-4 years of related sales supervisory or management experience. This is primarily a sales position requiring sufficient logistics/transportation background to secure new business.
