    This role is for high volume backend development and integration with supporting systems.

    Position Purpose:
    Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions for Pre-Adjudication.

    Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.


    Education/Experience:

    A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).Requires deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with - 8 years of related experience.


    Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.


    Technical Skills:
    One or more of the following skills are desired.
    Must be proficient in .NET 6 methods (ideal candidate would have experience with .NET 7)Have expertise in more than one object-oriented languages, including Python, C#, Go, Java, or C++Demonstrated experience in developing complex high performing API'sMust be proficient working with both relational & No SQL database (ie Oracle, MongoDB, Maria)Ensure all technology is in compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA)Experience with Enterprise Architecture

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to :Participation in the requirements discussion, working with internal and external team members to understand business requirementsBreak requirements into development tasks, provide estimated hours to develop, communicate impediments, participate in roadmap creation and architectural designResponsible for preparing design documents, unit test documents, and other artifacts as per business needsTest code via automated unit testing & acceptance testing frameworks (qTest)Perform code reviews and contribute to implementing coding standardsOccasional administrative and configuration tasksParticipates in on call rotationOther duties as assigned
