Sun Recycling is a cutting-edge construction and demolition debris collection facility based in Beltsville, Maryland. They specialize in receiving, sorting, and preparing recyclable materials and have been operating since October 2013.
Who We're Seeking:
We are in search of an experienced commercial driver with a Class A endorsement who values safety and efficient time management.
Key Requirements:
A Road Tractor Driver must have the following:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Able to work weekends
- Preferred experience with various types of trailers such as walking floor, tipper, and end-dump trailers.
Job Responsibilities:
A Tractor Trailer Driver will be responsible for:
- Compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations
- Following designated traffic routes
- Adhering to directions from the flagger at disposal sites
- Maintaining regular communication with Supervisors
- Ensuring cleanliness of the vehicles operated
- Performing other assigned duties as needed
Physical Requirements:
Individuals must consistently be able to:
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle
- Secure and unsecure trailers properly
- Drive attentively and safely throughout their shift
- Effectively communicate with others
- Tackle problems strategically
- Handle light administrative tasks

Responsabilidades Laborales:
Un Conductor de Tractor Remolque será responsable de:

- Seguir rutas de tráfico designadas
- Obedecer las instrucciones del banderillero en los sitios de disposición
- Mantener comunicación regular con los supervisores
- Garantizar la limpieza de los vehículos operados
- Realizar otras tareas asignadas según sea necesario
Requisitos Físicos:
El individuo debe tener la capacidad constante de:
- Operar de manera segura un vehículo Clase A
- Asegurar los remolques de forma adecuada
- Conducir atentamente y de forma segura durante toda su jornada laboral
- Comunicarse efectivamente con otros
- Resolver problemas de manera estratégica
- Realizar tareas administrativas básicas
