    Position Overview



    We currently have a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician job opportunity available. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the basic and chief function of the Maintenance Technician is to perform activities relating to building and machine maintenance throughout the entire facility.

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow all safety policies
    • Ensure all facility equipment is in proper working condition
    • Assist in maintaining accurate repair and maintenance records
    • Helps to evaluate the performance of the Maintenance Department
    • Maintains inventory of necessary parts/supplies to ensure productivity
    • Serves as a role model for all personnel through demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to do whatever it takes to do quality work

    Qualifications



    Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in the electrical field
    • 7+ years' experience in Maintenance in a manufacturing setting
    • Ability to lift, twist, bend, carry and tolerate physical work
    • Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner

    WORK ENVIROMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
    • The noise level in the work environment is loud.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
    • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
