Pediatric Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Quincy, MA

Job description
Puzzle Pieces is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to support children ages 12 and younger with a range of pediatric mental health and developmental needs. Our pediatric private practice provides respectful, family-centered support from a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including mental health, speech and language pathologists, and occupational therapists.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessment to understand the mental health needs of children and their families.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group and family therapy to support children reaching their goals.
- Work closely with parents, guardians, teachers and others involved to create a collaborative and supportive network for the child.
- Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records using the practice's electronic health records.
- Actively participate in weekly team meetings and internal professional development that supports the practice in better understanding the families we work with.
- Engage in regular clinical supervision in a 1:1 or small group setting
Requirements:
- A Doctoral or Master's Degrees in a mental health field, from an accredited graduate program, and a license for independent practice in Massachusetts (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMHC)
- Passion for working with children and families, experience with neurodiverse children preferred but not required.
- Willingness to be a true team player with our interdisciplinary team and execute strong communication skills

The first step in our process is a video conversation with a member of our Leadership Team. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you — and for you to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the role and what it's like to be part of Puzzle Pieces.
If we both feel it's a good fit, we'll invite you to an in-person interview. During this visit, you'll have the chance to connect with members of our team — the people you'd be working alongside and collaborating with each day. This interview may also include a brief observation of a therapy session to see our work in action.
By the end of the interview process, we hope you'll have a clear sense of who we are, how we support children and families, and what being part of our team could look like.
