    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions, particularly in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

    This is a multi-year contract assignment 100% remote. Candidates MUST be located in either the CST or EST time zones.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the migration of applications and workloads from AWS and other cloud environments to GCP, ensuring improved efficiency, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

    Design and implement applications migration strategies from AWS EKS to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, optimizing performance and reducing operational costs.

    Conduct comprehensive GCP assessments to estimate costs and facilitate strategic planning, including datacenter exits and cost-saving initiatives.

    Utilize Terraform, PowerShell, and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning automation and configuration management.

    Perform Cloud Assessment and Strategy for migrating existing AWS environments to GCP.

    Re-architect applications to align with GCP services and best practices.

    Design and configure network architecture in GCP, including VPC, subnets, VPN, and interconnect options.

    Develop end-to-end automation solutions, integrating tools like GitHub, Bamboo, Maven, SonarQube, and Artifactory.

    Implement FinOps best practices to achieve substantial savings and optimal resource utilization.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology.

    Minimum 8 years of expertise as a GCP Cloud Architect.

    Strong skills in AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Cloud Security, IAM, Lambda, and related technologies.

    Proficiency in CloudFormation, EKS, AKS, GKE, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and related tools.

    Experience in database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo DB, NoSQL.

    Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

    Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field.

    Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification is a must.

    Additional certifications like Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer are desirable.
