    ***Up to $40.30 per hour starting pay***
    ***$6,000 - $18,000 Bonus***

    Transgas of Lowell, MA, the largest LNG Transporter in the northeast and leader in the Natural Gas Transportation industry is hiring Diesel Mechanics and Diesel Technicians.

    Our team is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics and Diesel Technicians. In these roles, successful candidates will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work with other team members to meet company goals.     Responsibilities include:

    • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on trucks including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes
    • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
    • Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
    • Maintain part inventory and cleanliness in the shop
    • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Technician
    • Cummins Engine experience with a strong preventative maintenance background
    • Excellent reading and writing skills
    • CDL-A license with tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred
    • ASE Diesel Certification a plus

    Members of the Teamsters Union. Shift work necessary. Subject to mandatory DOT drug/alcohol testing.
