    Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

    We are committed to providing quality rehabilitation care services by offering skilled nursing and home health care facilities with top-notch therapists.

    As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work in part-time or full-time positions at various locations, including SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities).

    Available Locations for SNF:

    • Bronx, NY - Full Time
    • Yonkers, NY - Full Time

    Benefits:

    Responsibilities:

    The SLP will provide and direct Speech Therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in-services.

    • Conduct screenings of patients at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment
    • Evaluate patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
    • Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to patients, family, and other team members
    • Establish individual patient schedules in conjunction with other team members
    • Develop treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals
    • Coordinate treatment plan with patient, family, and other team members
    • Monitor patient's response to intervention and modify treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders
    • Instruct patient, family, and staff in use of augmentative communication devices
    • Document results of patient's assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services

    Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Licensed in the State of New York/New Jersey
    • CPR/BLS certification

    Work Environment:

    Expected hours: No less than 36 per week

    Flexible schedule

    Choose your own hours

    Monday to Friday

    No weekends

    Overtime

    Weekends as needed

    Location: In person
