    Shift:
    6:00 PM - 6:00 AM



    Experience:

    • 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
    • Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
    • Travel experience is required from any number of months.
    • Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
    • This role may require floating to additional units and locations
    • Local & travel allowed.
    • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System -
      IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System -
      IL.
    • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System -
      IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System -
      IL.

    Med/Surg, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac

    Preferred Skills /

    Experience:
    Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience

    MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Phlebotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, CBI's

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    4x12 or 3x12

    Will work every other weekend

    Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

    5 days maximum time off
