    **Job Description**

    **Warehouse Loader $ $0.50 shift differential**

    This position is responsible for the outbound loading of all materials onto flatbed trucks using a 3900lb capacity propane forklift. You will be responsible for the safety and maintenance of your equipment and your loading area (yard).

    **This position is for the 2nd shift: 3:30p- 12:00p M-F.**

    **Principle Responsibilities**

    Prepare outbound loads by pre scanning with an RF scanner

    Trouble shoot any missing product

    Load the product on a flatbed trailer

    Finalize outbound paperwork with the driver

    Loads and unload trucks, LCL and LTL shipments

    Comply with all company OHSA regulated safety codes

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    **Qualifications**

    **Competencies**

    Skilled forklift driver.

    Basic understanding of freight.

    Ability to communicate well with drive

    Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hr week. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to get the required tasks accomplished to meet deadlines.

    Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, directions and safety manuals.

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

    Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with fellow workers.

    **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

    A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
