Our client, one of the world's leaders in high-performance GPU and CPU technology is hiring for an ASIC Applications Engineer to join their expanding office in California.

This is a superb opportunity if you are a Digital ASIC Design expert looking to develop your career in a more customer-facing direction, in which you will have a much wider business view.

Whilst still remaining technical, as the ASIC Applications Engineer you will have a highly visible role, working closely with key customers to showcase products and provide support from the early stages of selection of IP all the way through to mass production.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on brand new projects, to work with high-profile customers and really enhance your knowledge of the market and workings of different areas of the business.

As the successful ASIC Applications Engineer you will have:

A detailed understanding of the digital IC design flow, with a number of years' prior RTL design experience using Verilog / VHDL
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior customer interaction experience would be preferred, however candidates with a keen interest to develop in this area are also considered
A background knowledge in CPU / GPU technology would be beneficial
