    Job Description

    As a Center Director, you will focus your efforts on the continued success of components of the program as well as those that are deficient or in need of improvement. In this role, you will also maintain fiscal responsibility and personnel oversight while ensuring that center resources are effectively and appropriately distributed providing for the efficient and smooth operation of our program.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Oversees the safety, security, and performance of all staff and students, including overseeing the operation of an efficient and effective delivery of person-centered outreach, academic, career preparation and career transitional services to students
    • Ensures compliance with DOL, PRH, FAR, OSHA, the Federal Register, and other regulatory guidelines
    • Oversees the communication and immediate application of all directives put forth by DOL and the Company
    • Audits existing center systems to ensure that all departments are in compliance with DOL and Company directives
    • Ensures that fiscal expenditures are in line with the Company, FAR and DOL guidelines
    • Monitors and provides departmental guidance to areas of concern where oversight is needed
    • Oversees center participation on Program Boards and Youth Councils
    • Ensures that an Industrial Advisory Committee is in place and assisting the center with recommendations on vocational offerings and training programs
    • Ensures community involvement through community-directed activities, work-based learning, and center participation in community events
    • Oversees full implementation of Career Development Services System
    • Works and coordinates with other sub-contractors who may be providing support services at the center
    • Develops and trains staff leading to optimal student achievement
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years of progressive experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Two years of supervisory experience
    • Culturally sensitive; able to work with and relate to a diverse set of participants
