    Job Title:
    ( Associate)

    Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
    Position Summary

    The (Associate) Director of FP&A is responsible for developing meaningful financial and operational reporting that will help drive company decision-making and financial aptitude.

    The (Associate) Director of FP&A will report to the CFO, with responsibility for strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting.

    They will be responsible for implementing best-in-class financial processes and systems to support continued growth and expansion.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
    ·

    Manage the development of the annual operating plan (AOP), mid-year reforecast, ad-hoc forecast updates, and long-range planning (5-year plan).
    ·

    Improve, maintain, and distribute monthly internal financial narrative and analytical package.
    ·

    Prepare finance deck for board of directors' meetings.
    ·

    Manage modeling for M&A activities and support due diligence efforts.
    ·


    Implement metrics, analytical tools and business processes to provide insight into the company's and departments' performance, including a new budgeting, reporting, and business intelligence software solution.

    ·

    Prepare weekly cashflow report.
    ·

    Review, analyze, and distribute monthly departmental expenditures, actual vs. budget and period over period. Hold operational reviews with department heads.
    ·

    Analyze revenue and gross margins, identify variance drives including pricing, cost, and volume/mix.
    ·

    Prepare business cases and conduct NPV/IRR/ROI analysis to support new investments and/or strategic initiatives.
    ·

    Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
    ·

    Develop and maintain finance policies.
    ·

    Perform other duties as required.

    Skills and Qualifications:
    ·

    8-12 years leadership experience in corporate FP&A, of which 5-7 years must be in a manufacturing industry with a basic understanding a cost account (stand cost)
    ·

    BS/BA in Finance but BS/BA in accounting also acceptable
    ·

    Proficient in the use of MS Office and ERPs (e.g. Epicor).
    ·

    An analytical mind with strategic ability.
    ·

    Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    ·

    Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Education/Experience
    ·

    8-10 years of experience in corporate accounting, plus 2-3 years in public accounting.
    ·

    BS/BA in Accounting.
    ·

    CPA or other relevant qualification highly desired
