- Transfers and transports patients as needed. Positions patients for exams with respect to their comfort and optimal exam quality.
- Evaluates image quality on Ultrasound Units to determine if adjustments are necessary.
- Furnish necessary patient information to Radiologist.
- Uses technical expertise when doing special procedures.
- Assists in the training of Radiology students.
- Practices sterile techniques and Universal Precautions.
- Cleans room/equipment following each exam.
- Restocks linen and refills gel bottles when needed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Technologist registered (ARDMS)
- BLS certification required.
- One year clinical experience required
- Additional registry in vascular ultrasound desired

Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs all required Ultrasound procedures. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity,and initiative to achieve films for diagnosis. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
