  • Position Summary:

    Under the general supervision of the Radiology Services Director and direct supervision of the Radiology Services Supervisor and according to established policies and procedures, operates x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated positions of the body with consideration of patients age specific needs. Positions, develops films for diagnostic interpretations, and assists technologist as directed. Available for emergency on-call procedures.


    Qualifications - External

    Minimum Education

    High school diploma or equivalent - Required

    Must be classified as a second-year student in an accredited radiology program. (RT., A.R.R.T.)

    Required Skills

    The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

    Three months or less of work experience is preferred.

    BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
