    Description

Our client is a portfolio company that specializes in the acquisition of hyper-niche software companies that fit narrow but mission-critical use cases for business customers. The company is experiencing rapid growth through acquisitions and organic growth and is looking for a motivated, energized, and high achieving individual to support the growth of the company.

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the SVP of Accounting. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes that will drive informed decision-making across the multi-entity organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights to guide the company's growth trajectory.

    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy, comprehensiveness, and alignment with strategic goals. Monitor actual performance against forecasts and identify deviations, providing timely analysis and recommendations.
    • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and potential risks. Utilize these models to guide resource allocation and strategic decision-making.
    • Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the performance of various business segments, products, and projects. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and drive performance improvements.
    • Variance Analysis: Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, highlighting variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods. Provide insightful explanations for deviations and collaborate with business units to implement corrective actions as needed.
