- Implement, and maintain the client's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure and cyber-security related services.
- Create and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive legal data in accordance with recognized information security frameworks.
- Manage security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, threat detection and response platforms.
- Working alongside external service providers to regularly monitor network and system logs for unusual or suspicious activity.
- Staying abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and threats, particularly those relevant to the legal sector.
- Oversee a robust data backup, data protection and disaster recovery plan.
- Collaborate with IT team members on various projects, providing support for infrastructure and cybersecurity related activity.
- Documenting procedures for the Customer Support team
- Drive knowledge and best practice sharing to the Support Services team as part of project delivery and change management activities.
- Function as an escalation point for application and device Incident and Problem Tickets.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity tools and practices.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 cloud services, with advanced security capabilities advantageous.
- Experience of managing and supporting a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
- Experience within the Legal Sector desirable.
- Professional certifications, for example, CYSA+, SSCP, SEC+, CCNA are advantageous.
- Initiative-taking and adaptive to a rapidly changing technological environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and with consultants and vendors.
