**Summary of Position:**
Yard Warehouse Technician duties will include maintaining materials inventory, ensuring material sign-out and return process completed properly, receiving of materials, stocking of materials, maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the warehouse and yard. For CDL Class A Drivers License holders, will include moving heavy equipment within the yard that is used in telecommunications construction.

**Essential duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:**
Skilled in Excel and Google sheets.
Ability to read and understand inventory sheets and invoices.
Receive, inspect, store and secure all materials and supplies when received.
Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews daily.
Maintain data for material usage logs to comply with our customers usage and tracking systems.
Assist in the management of fleet tools and equipment assigned to any project.
Loading and Unloading Fiber Reels and other materials as needed.
General Warehouse and Yard maintenance and clean up.
Must understand the hazards and precautions in the trade.
Assists with inspections and repairs of equipment.
**Requirements/Qualifications:**
Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction
CDL Class A License preferred
Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work overtime to include nights and weekends as needed.
Valid CDL drivers' license and an acceptable driving record.
Able to work outside year-round.
Must be at least 18.
**Physical Demands:**
Stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, lift for an extended time up to 6-8 hours.
Climb up and down equipment.
Push, pull, climb, reach, grasp repeatedly 2-3 hours.
Lift and carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
Subject to inclement weather conditions when working outdoors.
