- MINIMUM: RN degree/ 1 year experience specific to long term care or 2 years nursing experience
- PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in nursing/ 3 years experience with 1 year long term care supervisory experience
- MINIMUM: Current RN licensed in the state of PA
- Organize, supervise, and evaluate resident care
- Review verbal information and written documentation from previous shifts
- Communicate resident updates with physicians, families, nursing team, and other departments as necessary
- Prioritize needs of residents
- Address staffing issues as they occur
- Address resident, family, staff, and vendor concerns as they arise
- Assist with performance evaluations on the respective shift for the nurse aides and nurses
- Maintain communication between staff and Director of Nursing and department heads by attending meetings/ training through email, phone, or in person
