Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare machines for production operations per routings, work orders, production reports, etc.

Direct, including but not limited to, die and tool placement, material location, and first part approval process.

Assist machine operator(s) in trouble-shooting non-conformance issues.

Work in a safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.

Communicate safety rules and practices to all machine operators and employees involved in set-up and operations of machines.

Immediately report tool, die, or material non-conformance to Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Accurately complete paperwork required for production records (labor reporting, move tickets, SPC charts, etc.).

Maintain a neat, clean orderly work area.

Complete company provided training.

Participate in PCI process.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience, & Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Completion of in-house machine set-up courses/attends further education courses as required.

Thorough knowledge of operations, mechanical functions and controls for all positions within assigned department required.

Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, and production reports.

Ability to work overtime as required.

General machining experience.

CNC milland lathe experience.

Navigationofcomputer programs; touch screens.
