    What youll do
    As our Transportation Engineering Project Manager, youll be asked to take on dynamic engineering projects. We'll also count on you to:

    • Develop and grow our transportation engineering services by pursuing and creating business opportunities.
    • Maintain and expand client relationships with the help of branch managers and other project managers throughout the firm.
    • Manage multiple projects and assignments while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction, communication and quality.
    What it takes
    Ideally, youll have a bachelors or masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. If you have seven or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. Ideally, youll also:
    • Have a proven track record of successful project design and management.
    • Be a licensed professional engineer or demonstrate the ability to secure licensure shortly after starting employment.
    • Have a minimum of five years of relevant project/client experience with Illinois, Wisconsin and/or Iowa departments of transportation and/or the Illinois Tollway.
    • Have a strong knowledge of site grading, stormwater management, sanitary sewer design, water supply systems and roadway design for residential, commercial and industrial sites
    • Speak and write well.
    • Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Be a team player and excel at mentoring others.
    • Have a passion for crafting tailored solutions and going above and beyond for our clients.
