    Responsibilities:


    Liver Transplant Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Coordinator coordinates all quality activities for liver transplant, under the direction of hospital quality leadership.

    Aligns transplant quality with the hospital quality program, including transparency, reporting, and communication between liver transplant staff and hospital executive and Board leadership.

    Maintains compliance with CMS requirement for a transplant QAPI program. Manages quality metric analysis and coordinates improvement activities.

    Qualifications:
    RN with license to practice in New Jersey and BSN required. MSN preferred.

    Five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, including two (2) years experience with transplant program operations, regulatory (CMS) and accreditation (UNOS) components.

    Must have knowledge and backgroundusing quality and safety methodologies.

    Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as working effectively with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team across clinical areas.

    Effective personal and professional written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills, and customer service skills a must. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with critical thinking and decision making abilities. Lean training preferred.
