    We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our dynamic team in the B2B office technology and printing industry.

    The Sales Trainer will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the sales skills and knowledge of our sales representatives, enabling them to excel in a competitive market.

    The ideal candidate should possess accountability, excellent communication skills, and a passion for coaching and mentoring. This position will report to the Senior VP of Sales Operations.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or Sales Manager working in a team environment.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
    Proficiency in developing training materials. Familiarity with sales software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
    Results-oriented with a track record of improving sales team performance.

    Must be able to travel to different locations in Oklahoma and TexasKey Responsibilities:

    Training Program Development:
    Collaborate with the sales management team to assess training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
    Design training materials, including presentations, prospecting and cost analysis tailored to the office technology and printing industry.


    Sales Skill Enhancement:
    Conduct training sessions to improve the sales team's product knowledge, understanding of industry trends, and selling techniques.
    Provide coaching and guidance to sales representatives on effective sales strategies and objection-handling techniques.


    Product Knowledge:


    Ensure sales representatives have a deep understanding of our office copier and printing product line, including features, specifications, and competitive advantages.

    Regularly update training materials to reflect new product releases and technological advancements.


    Sales Process Training:
    Train sales representatives on the full sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
    Foster a consultative selling approach, emphasizing customer needs analysis and solution-based selling.


    Role-Playing and Practice:
    Organize role-playing exercises to simulate real sales scenarios and practice objection handling, negotiations, and closing techniques.
    Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to improve sales skills.


    Physical Requirements:
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times.

    Must be able to travel to different Standley Locations in Oklahoma and TexasMust be able to pass drug and alcohol screen.

    Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, therefore medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position.
