    Job Description:

    Insight Global is looking for a Quality Specialist to join the engineering team of one of their top energy customers located in Greenville, SC. This position provides operational support to the engineering organization for quality and auditing requirements. The main responsibility of this role is to monitor quality metrics for procedure revisions, action items, training status, and out of tolerance reporting, quality alerts, on time delivery, audits, and test request status. Intermediate Excel experience is required and the ability to learn new software quickly since the company has a proprietary database where the quality specialist will be inputting technical documentation. Some experience or willingness to learn HTML skills is helpful for this role to enter updates into the company's internal intranet. The documentation that is required within the database is imperative to organize and manage the inventory of the measuring and test equipment, and this person will be supporting the tagging of this equipment within the system as well. Comfortability speaking with external vendors and supporting audits is also key in this position, and effective communication across various departments is needed to update the reporting for monthly quality reviews. Overall, the company is willing to train on majority of these skillsets, so Insight Global is looking for someone with strong computer skills, ability to multitask and wear many hats, and someone who has the eagerness and willingness to learn. This role is Monday-Friday, onsite in Greenville, SC, Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm.

    Required:

    Associates or Bachelor's Degree (Engineering Technology degree is a plus)

    Minimum 3 years in a professional environment within quality or laboratory testing experience

    Strong quantitative, analytical, and technical writing skills

    Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills

    Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Excel, Access, Word, HTML

    Preferred:

    Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams
