This position includes a full spectrum of tasks from preventive maintenance to responding to emergency service calls. Our maintenance technicians are resourceful, hard-working, and great at applying common sense solutions.

    Ongoing Essential Duties:


    • Completing service requests promptly including
    :

    repairing/maintaining items such as showers, sinks, appliances, electrical fixtures, plumbing, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors

    • Inspecting and preparing vacant units for new move-ins
    • Having a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems
    • Conducts semi-annual preventative maintenance inspections and service
    • Maintains the properties' curb appeal and cleanliness of the grounds at all times including trash pick-up, snow and ice removal, sweeping, power washing, light landscaping, etc.
    • Handles daily upkeep of the amenities (pools, dog runs, etc.)
    • Assists in keeping all maintenance shops and vehicles clean, orderly, and stocked with necessary parts
    • Shares responsibility for after-hours emergency service, taking calls as needed on weekends, evenings, and holidays
    • Occasional assistance with general construction projects and other duties as assigned

    Requirements:
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Represents the company in a professional manner in both appearance and behavior at all times, including wearing proper uniform and name badge as required
    • Utilizes mobile-based property management and time tracking apps to document issues and report work so it can appropriately billed
    • Values communication, always responds quickly, checks in with team throughout the day, and report any issues and/or inventory needs
    • Comfortable working in multiple locations across multiple properties within a given day
    • Possesses positive attitude, resourcefulness, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
    • Thrives calmly under pressure and performs consistently with a sense of urgency and accuracy
    Education and Experience:


    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
    • Prior maintenance or construction experience
    • HVAC and Certified Pool Operator certifications are preferable
    • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, backpack blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools
    Physical Requirements:


    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
    • Must be able to ascend/descend stairs to access units on 2nd and 3rd floor and work atop ladders
    • Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
