Technique Prototype Technician Training ProgramWe are looking for candidates with a minimum of one year of job shop or manufacturing experience, the ability to read blueprints, and excellent mechanical aptitude for our prototype technician training program. We desire those candidates with technical training. Above all, we are looking for candidates with an EAGERNESS to apply themselves, work hard, and learn a new trade.
What is the Technique Prototype Technician Training Program?
We are looking for qualified applicants for our Technician Training Program. During this 6-month to 4 year program, attendees will work alongside a senior prototype technician. Trainees will assist the technicians in all aspects of producing partsthis will include sanding and deburring parts, washing parts, loading tools, running hydraulic presses, inspecting parts, and operating laser cutting equipment. The trainee will have the opportunity to spend time in all areas of manufacturing to become proficient in each.
The starting wage for this program is $20/hour*. As a prototype technician, you would have the opportunity to increase your hourly wage commensurate with your performance.
The goal at the end of the program is for the trainee to develop into a fully fledged prototype technician that is capable of producing a part from start to finish.
What background is needed for this program?
