- Collaborate with the technical team to implement GEP strategic initiatives such as strengthening life skills education, school mentoring, and gender equality.
- Assist the GEP Senior Program Manager in conveying project designs to staff and partners, translating them into practical field applications.
- Coordinate with RM&E and GEP technical team to develop surveys and research for identifying opportunities to support GEP integration and expansion in education systems.
- Provide technical support to the GEP team in creating manuals, training modules, and documenting best practices.
- Play an active role in revising and designing training materials for partners and target groups.
- Collaborate with consultants for translation and development of necessary materials.
- Work with GEP Technical team and Field Managers to plan and deliver training courses to partners and school teachers effectively.
- Ensure quality implementation of GEP programs and activities in alignment with guidelines and project designs.
- Offer technical guidance to teachers on program execution as per the defined design.
- Assist in maintaining program quality standards and local adaptation of content.
- Conduct regular site visits to schools for monitoring and supporting teachers in program activities.
- Collaborate with field staff in analyzing gaps and enhancing teachers' skills.
- Coordinate with partners at all levels to ensure effective implementation of GEP programs.
- Support the Senior Program Manager in administrative tasks, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation of programs.
- Act as Room to Read's representative in interactions with governmental officers in the education sector.
- Develop work plans with Field managers and partners, monitor activities, provide feedback for program enhancement.
- Conduct regular site visits, monitor activities, and report findings.
- Provide recommendations for program improvement and document related data and best practices.
- Prepare technical reports as needed during program implementation.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
- Engage in review meetings and additional activities to support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with GEP staff and other departments effectively.
- Represent Room to Read in relevant forums, advocating for the significance of GEP work at regional and national levels.
- Establish connections with other NGOs for knowledge sharing and potential collaboration opportunities.
- Fulfill any duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in related fields like Education development, Psychology, Sociology, or Social work.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in education and community development.
- Experience working with governmental officers in the education sector.
- Strong organizational, facilitation, and training skills.
- Previous experience in supervision and mentoring.
- Willingness to travel frequently and engage with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and educational applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of education issues and community development.
