Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior
Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior Working on the Human Resources team, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.
Our work depends on Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior joining our team to work on specific requirements to support our program requirements.
In this role, a typical day will include:
HOW A TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Administers the selection and hiring process of candidates to meet organization staffing requirements
Full-life Cycle Polygraph Recruiting Support
Sources, recruits, screens, interviews, and recommends external and/or internal candidates complying with organization policy and government regulatory guidelines
Reviews resumes, advertising responses and employment applications. Interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals, and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively
Coordinates the conduct of reference checks and evaluates reference data concerning previous employment record
Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications, and resumes
Acts as internal staff consultant for line and staff management on employment matters
Assists managers in evaluating applicant qualifications and selection of most qualified candidates
Gathers, prepares, and analyzes a variety of employment data relating to advertising effectiveness, turnover, minority employment, recruiting campaigns and related items as required
Participates in and formulates basic recommendations in the development of short- and long-range manpower and employment objectives considering such factors as corporate growth objectives, manpower availability, employment lead time requirements and the like
Develops advertising campaigns, determining ad placement, and coordinating advertising schedules in appropriate media
Plans and conducts college recruiting programs
Establishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources including search firms, governmental agencies, college placement centers, trade schools, and related organizations
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience
In lieu of degree, 9+ years of relevant experience (combination of education, work experience, and certifications will be considered)
Full Life Cycle and Polygraph Recruiting experience
Technical Recruiting experience
US Citizenship required
