    The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our Sr. Leadership team.

    The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for directing the operation of the Accounting/Financial, Food Services, Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Information Technology departments.

    This position supports the managerial needs of the organization and contributes to its success as a provider of mental, social, and behavioral health programs.


    Schedule:
    Full-time, Exempt (Monday – Friday, Normal Business Hours)

    Location:
    Whitehall, OH(Hybrid - Three in office days required)

    What you'll do:


    Oversee design, development, and implementation of needed business planning (budgeting) and reporting systems to meet the requirements of departmental managers, management, external auditors, and the Board of Directors.

    Direct the development, operation and timely updates of information technology systems hardware and software to provide necessary and useful accounting, managerial and archival information, record keeping and analytical tools.

    Interact with the purchasing function to assure that Ranch expenditures for supplies, systems, and services are at competitive prices for equivalent levels of quality and volume.

    Support the finance/accounting, organizational and reporting needs of the Operations Board, the Holding Company, and the Foundation Board.

    Assist in the development and negotiation of new agency contracts and administers existing contracts to assure that obligations of the Ranch are met and that obligations of other parties are fulfilled.

    Evaluate the Ranch's financial position and issues periodic reports on financial status, including cash position and cash flow, accounts receivable aging, rate of income growth or contraction, facilities utilization, and other key indicators that represent problem areas or opportunities.

    Prepare and assist departments with overall and/or departmental budget and P&L process.

    Who you are:
    You have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; master's degree preferred.
    You preferably have 10 years of CFO, or Controller, working experience.
    You are preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    You preferably have knowledge of Behavioral Health systems and programming.
    You have an active Ohio driver's license.
