Responsibilities include obtaining reviewing updating and documenting medical histories test results diagnoses treatments individual responses in the Electronic Health Record EHR conducting physical examinations ordering performing interpreting diagnostic tests procedures determining confirming diagnoses treating specialized medical conditions prescribing administering medications therapies vaccinations modifying treatment plans as needed collaborating referring maintaining accurate documentation supervising overseeing consulting advising training reviewing approving tracking assigning completing performance evaluations participating developing implementing revising clinical policies procedures assisting developing supervising residency training programs healthcare education initiatives.
