We are a forty-year old civil construction company that began Colorado operations in 2021.Services and projects include underground utilities, mass grading and more and include project values varying from $1 million to $30 million.
SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team.
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project requirements and specifications, and ensuring that all estimates are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate estimates and proposals.
Utilize cost estimation software and tools to develop and manage cost estimates.
Conduct site visits and inspections to gather information on project requirements and existing conditions.
Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they are competitive and meet project specifications.
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that estimates are accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and proposals to clients in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as needed to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
At least 5-10 years of experience in construction estimating.
Proficiency in using cost estimation software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices.
Understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay Range:
$150,000 - $175,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience
